  1. I do not know where you all are from, but I have lived in Tulsa 63 years, and you did some things that I have never done. Did you know the Admiral Twin was in the movie "The Outsiders"

  2. transplanted Tulsan here from CT…….low cost of living's the no.1 reason m still here since '03…its a cool city & very diverse unbeknownst to so many…..we hv quite few hidden gems like the world class Philbrook museum, Cain's Ballroom, the Guthrie Green, the Gathering Place, the downtown Mayo Hotel, the underground tunnel connecting different buildings downtown….& many other tidbits

  3. Native Tulsan here, You forgot to mention the Admiral Twin is where a scene from The Outsiders was filmed! Plus you didn't go to the Outsider's house! The Admiral showtime days do vary from season to season. Great video, I am glad Tulsa has begun embracing it's Route 66 history.

  4. I’m from Tulsa. Just a fun fact for you. The movie β€œThe Outsiders” was filmed in Tulsa and the Admiral Twin was the drive-in theater shown in the movie. Enjoy your travels.

  5. I haven't been to Tallys since I was in high school. I can't believe you could make a whole video about Tulsa because I live here & there is nothing here! Can't wait to leave it in my rear view mirror!!

  6. I was born and raised in Tulsa also and just a few blocks from the mother road. When the 11th street bridge got made back in the early 1900s then it was the first bridge that a automobile could cross to get over the long Arkansas River that run from the Rockies in Colorado to the the Mississippi River where it run out at. Being the only way for the north to get to the south with an automobile then that really made a well worn-path that became Route 66.

  7. If you are ever back to Fort Worth, TX check out the Coyote Drive In. $8 for 2 movies, yes that is about the same for most, but the Coyote has 4 screens, yes you read it right!! For now due to the pandemic you can mobile order from your phone and they will bring it to your car! I have been following you a short time. My 1st time seeing your videos, well the snow in TX! It was crazy! If and when we do get it, most times it is for a couple of day and then it gone!! Keep up the good job!

  8. If you’re in Tulsa you must go to The Gathering Place. Check out Guthrie Green downtown and see the revitalization there. Also the Greenwood district is an important landmark.
